NEWARK, N.Y. – April 1, 2009 – Ultralife Corporation, a global provider of products and services ranging from portable and standby power solutions to communications and electronics systems, announced today that Ralph Wise, Director of Technology, will be a featured speaker and panelist at the Advanced Battery Manufacturing Summit being held on April 15-17, 2009 at the Almas Temple Club, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Wise, speaking on the subject of "Packaging and Module Development," will also be a member of the panel to discuss "Battery Developers on Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain." Panelists will discuss at length the challenges faced and the different approaches being taken by their companies to establish a successful electric transport and power infrastructure in North America.
Wise joined Ultralife in 1993 as a Senior Scientist responsible for the research and development of lithium rechargeable batteries. Since that time, he has held positions as Commercial Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and Product Manager for the rechargeable product line before becoming the Director of Technology at Ultralife. He has a BS in physical chemistry and an MBA, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
