| TITLE: Ultralife Corporation to Present Paper on Lithium Battery Technology for Standby Power Applications at Annual Battcon Conference |

NEWARK, N.Y. – April 3, 2009 – Ultralife Corporation, a global provider of products and services ranging from portable and standby power solutions to communications and electronics systems, will present a paper at the annual Battcon International Stationary Battery Conference and Trade Show being held on April 27-29, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. The paper is entitled "Li Battery Technologies in Stationary Standby Power Applications – Selecting the Right Technology."
The paper will focus on helping customers choose from among the daunting array of lithium ion battery suppliers and technologies to find the correct match for their application in terms of power, ownership costs, monitoring and reporting capability, desired life, and safety.

Ultralife presenters at the Battcon conference include Ralph Wise, Director of Technology at Ultralife Corporation, and Mike Sirard, Director Product Management and Business Development at Ultralife Corporation’s RPS Power Systems.
Wise joined Ultralife in 1993 as a Senior Scientist, and since that time has held positions as Commercial Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and Product Manager for the rechargeable product line at Ultralife before becoming Director of Technology. He has a BS in physical chemistry and an MBA, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Sirard joined Ultralife's RPS Power Systems in 2007, and is formerly Vice President of Engineering at BatteryCorp, where he was responsible for product applications, battery development and key-account technical sales. Sirard holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Western New England College and received his MBA from Marquette University.
