Ultralife's fully-equipped testing laboratory can perform the lithium battery transportation tests and verification of compliance now required by the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria. Our test services are available to device manufacturers, battery assemblers, research and end-user organizations who either do not have their own in-house testing capabilities or prefer to take advantage of our many years of battery design, manufacturing and testing expertise. Ultralife has the capability to perform all of the UN T1 - T8 tests in-house for the following chemistries: Li/MnO2, Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer. Testing completion time can vary depending on quantity and fixture requirements. Please contact Ultralife for information on testing costs and timing. Upon completion of testing, Ultralife will issue a test report containing a description of the tests performed and the test results.
